The Ultimate Guide to a 10 Day Itinerary for Things to Do in Siem Reap, Phnom Penh & Koh Rong This guide is a summary of my experience with clients and is intended to help you plan your trip to Cambodia.

Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival- Welcome

First Day: I often pick up my clients from Techo Phnom Penh Airport. The drive from the city to the airport usually takes around 30 minutes. I hold up a signboard with their name on it and welcome them into the car for the ride to the hotel. I usually inform them about our plans and review the itinerary for the day and the following days. If we have time on the first day, we can explore a supermarket like AEON and then watch the sunset at the Mekong River.

Day 2: Phnom Penh City Tour

Second Day: In the morning, we explore the city. On this day, we focus on interacting with local people and learning about their lives, the economy, geography, and daily routines. With our tour guide, you will see and learn more about the authentic culture and history of Phnom Penh, the capital city.

Begin your day with a visit to Koh Dach (Silk Island), where you can observe traditional silk weaving and experience local village life.

Next, visit the SOSORO Museum to learn about the history and economic development of Cambodia.

After that, head to the Russian Market, one of the city’s most popular markets, renowned for handicrafts, souvenirs, and local products. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor authentic Cambodian cuisine.

Day 3: Phnom Penh For deeply history

On the third day, we will focus on deeper learning and exploration of the remarkable places that many people often visit. You will discover modern architecture, the history of Cambodia, art, and civilization from the Angkor period to the present day.

Continue exploring the city’s colonial and Khmer architecture, then proceed to Central Market (Psar Thom), a landmark Art Deco market perfect for shopping and local experiences. Visit the National Museum of Cambodia to discover Khmer art and Angkor-era sculptures. Next, explore the Royal Palace, followed by a stop at Wat Phnom, which serves as the symbolic heart of the city.

Conclude your day at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to gain insight into Cambodia’s recent history.

Finally, visit Wat Phnom, the main Buddhist shrine where locals frequently come to pay their respects.

Day 4: Transfer to Siem Reap

• Afternoon: Visit the Artisans Angkor workshop to witness traditional Khmer craftsmanship, including stone carving, woodwork, and silk painting.
• Evening: Attend a performance by Phare Cambodian Circus, a unique show that combines theater, music, and acrobatics to tell Cambodian stories.
  Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Day 6: Phnom kulen and Banteay Srie

• Morning:

• Lunch Break:
  Enjoy lunch at a scenic spot near the waterfall.
• Afternoon:
  Visit the beautiful Banteay Srei, famous for its detailed pink sandstone carvings and well-preserved architecture.
• Return to your hotel and end of the tour.

Day 7: Transfer out to Koh Rong

Pick up from your hotel in Siem Reap and transfer to Koh Rong by private vehicle. Enjoy the journey through Cambodia’s countryside with optional stops along the way.

Day7-10 : Enjoy Your Relax at  koh Rong
