I am Rain Proun, a certified history and culture expert specializing in custom private tours across Cambodia. Since 2017, I have dedicated myself to creating unforgettable, deeply immersive journeys for travelers from around the world. Whether you want to dive deep into the ancient mysteries of Angkor or experience modern Cambodian culture like a local, I provide a professional, seamless experience. I am fully licensed and fluent in both English and French.
To bring the history of Cambodia to life, I went out of my way to learn directly from international archaeological teams. I have learned directly from the French permanent archaeological team in Siem Reap (EFEO) and the Australian archaeologists on the Greater Angkor Project (who pioneered the ground-breaking LiDAR laser technology to map the lost cities of Angkor).

I was born in Siem Reap, Cambodia. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia and achieved an IELTS score of 6.5 at ACE.
