Understanding Angkor's Temples What You'll Actually Learn & See
The Small Circuit: Angkor Wat → Angkor Thom → Bayon → Ta Prohm
The Grand Circuit: Preah Khan → Neak Pean → Ta Som → East Mebon → Pre Rup .These temples give you a different perspective on the Angkor complex and generally require a separate day from the main Small Circuit.
Banteay Srei : farther from the central Angkor temples and is famous for its exceptionally detailed sandstone carvings. It works particularly well for travelers interested in Khmer art and architecture.
Remote temples: Beng Mealea and Koh Ker for specific interest in off beaten path .I recommend it for travelers who want to experience a more remote and atmospheric temple rather than simply adding another famous Angkor site.

For most first-time visitors, 3–5 days is a good starting point. Three days covers the essential temples, while 5 days gives more flexibility for the Grand Circuit and quieter sites.

Yes. It is contingent upon how many days I can squeeze in places like Banteay Srei, Beng Mealea, Phnom Kulen and other temples away from the main circuit.
