Day 1: Grand Circuit & Sunset at Banteay Srei▾
Pick up at 8:00 AM for a visit to Preah Khan, a former capital city and royal monastery.
Continue to Neak Pean, the most popular local temple shrine, and then continue to East Mebon and Pre Rup, both admired for their similar architecture but different temple functions.
After a lunch break, visit Banteay Srei, renowned for its pink sandstone, then Banteay Samré.
Return to your hotel.
Day 2: Angkor Wat Sunrise-Bayon-Taphrom▾
Start at 5:00 early to see Angkor Wat and to learn why Angkor Wat was built for sunlight.
Continue through the impressive South Gate into Angkor Thom to explore Bayon, which is renowned for its many serene stone faces.
See panoramic views from Baphuon, the grand temple-mountain in the 11th century, before finishing at Ta Prohm, where giant tree roots have grown into the ancient ruins.
The tour ends with a return to your hotel.
